Almost immediately after the Liberation Army victory at the Second Battle at Scarleticia Castle, it was reported that the Imperial Army under General Teo McDohl was approaching Toran Castle on the opposite side of Lake Toran, the eastern shore.
Although Liberation Army strategist Mathiu Silverberg advised a brief skirmish to test the Imperial Army's strength and Teo's son shook off the hesitation in his heart in order to fight his father, the Liberation Army was stunningly overwhelmed by Teo McDohl's Armored Cavalry and took heavy casualties before ordering a full retreat.
The Imperial Army pursued the routed rebel forces and it was only the fact that Pahn fended off Teo in a one-on-one duel that led Teo's army to halt their advance and prevented the complete destruction of the Liberation Army.
